travelling south on roosevelt way in left lane. a car pulled out in front of me from portage bay cafe parking lot. car didn't see me due to cars parked in lane closest to curb. i had enough room to brake, but as i was trying to avoid the car, i didn't notice a pothole in front of me. when i hit the pothole, i reflexively gripped my brakes tighter, which sent me flying over the front of the bike, landing on my head and shoulder. took ambulance to UW ER.
